Datanomix Flexxbotics400x275Datanomix, which develops automated production intelligence software, has announced a partnership with Flexxbotics, which develops robotics process improvement technology. Together, the companies plan to extend the Datanomix automated production intelligence coverage to Universal Robot cells, in order to power lights-out and automated operations at precision manufacturers.

As part of the partnership, Datanomix will gain access to real-time operational data for UR systems from Flexxbotics via their FlexxConnect platform. Advanced utilization and performance data for UR is collected and displayed in the Datanomix platform, offering insights into both cobot and CNC machine cycle time, part counts, run time, and machine/robot status. This will allow precision manufacturers to make better-informed decisions around automating their factory. In addition, FlexxConnect offers centralized and revision-controlled cobot and CNC program management features, and guided workflows for cobot operators and CNC machine operators.

Existing Flexxbotics customers can add Datanomix to their deployments, and similarly, Datanomix customers can add the Flexxbotics management platform to their UR installations.

Flexxbotics said its platform can significantly increase cobot-tended CNC utilization and productivity through a suite of robot deployment, robot monitoring, robot-to-CNC connectivity, guided workflow and robot/CNC program management solutions.
