TrueView655 400x275GeoCue has announced that its new TrueView 655/660 will be exhibiting at the upcoming Intergeo 2022 event in Europe. The 655/660 is GeoCue’s third-generation RIEGL integration built with the miniVUX-3UAV and triple mapping cameras (right, left, nadir) for high-accuracy mapping with vegetation penetration and wire detection in a light payload package.



Denso VisionSensor400x275DENSO Corporation has announced it expanded the detection angle of its vision sensor, increasing the sensor’s ability to recognize pedestrians and bicycles around a vehicle to improve road safety. The vision sensor is used on some grades of the Subaru Legacy Outback, announced in April 2022 for the North American market, and the Subaru Crosstrek, announced in September 2022 for the Japanese market.

The system uses autonomous handling robots to help parking lots improve the customer experience and increase the number of vehicles that can be stored.

Based on a unique architecture and advanced 12nm process technology, the NU4100 IC supports integrated dual-channel 4K ISP, enhanced AI processing and depth sensing on a single-chip, low-power design.


Aeva NVIDIA Sim400x275Aeva, which develops next-generation sensing and perception systems, has announced that its Aeries 4D lidar sensors are now supported on NVIDIA’s DRIVE simulation platform. Aeva’s Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) 4D lidar sensors detect 3D position, in addition to instant velocity for each point at distances up to 500 meters, bringing an added dimension to sensing and perception for safe autonomous driving.


OusterLidarOSO 400x275Ouster, which develops high-resolution digital lidar sensors, has announced a 3D industrial lidar sensor suite aimed at high-volume material handling applications. The line of high-resolution OS0 and OS1 sensors is configured to meet unique requirements of forklift, port equipment and autonomous mobile robot (AMR) manufacturers, with price points that enable adoption on high-volume production fleets, the company said.

Earlier this year the company demonstrated a detection range of more than 500 meters at CES, and the company said it has now optimized its technology to go beyond 1,000 meters.


NexarMap400x275Israel-based Nexar, which develops AI computer vision, has announced the release of its Driver Behavioral Mapping data. The map gives insights for different road segments, driver types, weather, and road conditions. The company’s dashboard cameras capture a wide range of crowd-sourced driving data of actual human driving behavior, which is then aggregated and overlaid on a high-definition base map to be used for autonomous and assisted driving applications.


AeroVironmentMantis400x275AeroVironment has announced its Mantis i23 D, a multi-sensor daytime imaging payload that is compatible with the Raven B small unmanned aircraft systems (SUAS). The Mantis i23 D is an enhanced daylight variant of its predecessor, the Mantis i23, and uses the same modular interface to allow for quick and simple swapping between payloads with no software updates required to avionics or ground control systems.
